Keep San Angelo Beautiful Announces Recycling Art Contest and Tree Giveaway

Keep San Angelo Beautiful is inviting the community to take part in two upcoming events promoting sustainability. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade can enter an America Recycles Day art contest by creating artwork made of at least 75% recycled or reused materials, with entries due November 13 at the North or West Branch Library. Thanks to AEP Texas, the top three winners in each age group will receive a laptop. The organization is also hosting a free tree giveaway November 6 at Murdoch’s, beginning at 8:30 a.m., with a limit of two trees per vehicle while supplies last.
