Texas DPS Launches New Online System for License-to-Carry Permits

Texas DPS has launched a new online system designed to simplify several licensing and regulatory services. The RSD Connect platform allows Texans to apply for, renew and check the status of License to Carry handgun permits online. Licensed instructors can also use the system to manage handgun licensing courses. The platform additionally handles applications and renewals for Capitol Access Passes. DPS says the centralized system should make it easier for applicants to track their requests while potentially reducing processing times. RSD Connect is now available statewide.
