The Tom Green County Library System is putting a literary twist on Oktoberfest with “Booktoberfest” next month.
The free event will run from 3 to 5:30 p.m. October 23 at the North Angelo Branch Library.
Activities will include book-themed crafts for children and adults, a scavenger hunt, free books and displays from the library’s Book Nook contest. Root beer samples and pretzel snacks will add a German-inspired touch to the celebration.
Library officials say the event is also an opportunity for residents to explore everything the North Angelo Branch has to offer.
