12-Year-Old Wall Middle School Student Killed in Tom Green County ATV Rollover

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal ATV rollover that claimed the life of a 12-year-old boy Sunday afternoon. Deputies say the utility vehicle overturned in a field on Roberts Road, trapping the child underneath. Investigators determined the ATV was being driven by an 11-year-old juvenile at the time of the crash. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Shannon Medical Center. The victim has been identified as Wall Middle School student Rhyder McCray. The investigation remains ongoing.
