Volunteers and city leaders in San Angelo have begun restoring the historic Lone Wolf Bridge, working to repaint the structure and remove years of graffiti and damage. The effort is being led by Leadership San Angelo in partnership with the city, with the goal of preserving one of the area’s oldest landmarks. Organizer Monica Robles says the bridge has shifted from a place for graffiti to one that’s seen increasing vandalism over time. The restoration project is expected to be completed by mid-June.
