Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed an Angelo State University professor to a key state board overseeing the practice of psychology. Dr. Sangeeta Singg, a longtime psychology professor at ASU in San Angelo, has been named to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, which sets licensure standards and policies for psychologists across the state.
Singg brings decades of academic and community leadership to the board, having directed graduate psychology programs and served on local health and mental‑health organizations.
