A New Justice Of The Peace Appointed

A new justice of the peace to be appointed at tomorrow’s commissioners’ court in Tom Green County. Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard is retiring from his post. The Tom Green County commissioners and Judge Carter will appoint a temporary justice of the peace to finish the remainder of Howard’s term. The new Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace will be appointed at Commissioners’ Court on Tuesday. Jan 7 and the county will be hosting a retirement celebration for Howard later that afternoon.
