City Mayor Brenda Guner released a letter to the public citing
progress in and around the San Angelo Regional Airport. She says
from improved sewage lines and runway additions to a flourishing
flight school and aircraft mechanic classes, the resulting benefits to
our economy is expected to be notable. She highlighted some of the
airport initiatives and advancements that have been made, such as the
Lake Nasworthy Sewer Improvement Project, Airport operations, and
projects, the San Angelo Development Corporation efforts, Skyline
Aviation expansion, Angelo State University’s involvement, and
flight training and Howard College aviation-related classes.
