San Angelo School District officials gave an update on procedures for classes for the fall semester. The district will still have the choice of in-classroom or virtual instruction, but with the ability to select your preference at each 9-week grading period. For in-class instruction, safety protocols will be in place including distancing measures.
In accordance with Governor Abbott’s order, masks will be required for all students age 10 and older when distancing measures are not feasible. Virtual learning will be conducted through a new, enhanced online learning program.
District officials say the situation is constantly evolving, and they will continue to update as more information becomes available. They are planning two Facebook Live sessions next week to provide more information and to answer questions.
