The City is beginning to gather citizen input as it explores how best to improve its parks, recreational facilities, and programming. Citizens are invited to come share their thoughts that will help shape a Parks and Recreation Master Plan. That plan, in addition to creating a vision for the City’s parks and recreation system, will guide how the public’s priorities are addressed. The meetings will be held at the City Council chambers at the McNease Convention Center. The meetings will be on Monday, October 21st at 4 and 5:30 p.m. to gather input on the master plan, including parks; recreational facilities; recreational programming for youth, adults and seniors; fees, and reservations. The City will also gather public input through a month-long online survey.
