San Angelo Schools will offer free summer meals for kids in the Summer Food Service Program. Children and teens ages 18 and younger can eat healthy meals, including breakfast, lunch, and a snack, throughout the summer at no cost, just by showing up at a participating meal site. Free meals will be available starting June 2nd through July 2nd at participating sites in San Angelo ISD and our local Boys and Girls Clubs. Children do not have to be classified as economically disadvantaged to participate, and there is no paperwork to complete. Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. A list of serving sites, dates, times, and a weekly menu for the Summer Meals Program is available on the San Angelo ISD website at "said dot org". For more information call the SAISD Child Nutrition Department at 325-659-3615.
