One person was killed and 2 were injured in a head-on collision last evening on Highway 277 8 miles north of San Angelo. The DPS says one vehicle was attempting to pass an 18 wheeler and crashed head-on into another vehicle heading in the opposite direction. Those injured included a driver, a 45-year-old male from Nebraska, and the driver of the other vehicle, a 49-year-old male. The deceased passenger was not identified.
