A large law enforcement presence remained in a San Angelo neighborhood Sunday afternoon as officers conducted an active investigation.
Authorities blocked roads around the 1900 block of Coleman Street near North Harrison Street while personnel from several agencies worked at the scene.
Texas DPS Sergeant Justin Baker says there is no danger to the public. However, residents and drivers are being asked to avoid the area because the investigation could take some time.
Officials have not released details about what prompted the response. Additional information is expected as the investigation continues.
