San Angelo police say an incident at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park on Friday initially reported as a robbery was later determined to be a vehicle burglary. Officers responded to the park around 1:30 p.m., creating a noticeable police presence in the area. After investigating, detectives determined the case involved a burglary of a motor vehicle and an uncooperative victim. The Criminal Investigations Division took over the case but says no charges will be filed. Police have not released additional details about the incident. The investigation has since concluded.
