City and County Team Up for Household Hazardous Waste Cleanup Day

San Angelo residents are encouraged to safely get rid of hazardous household items at a community collection event next month. The Household Hazardous Waste Event is set for Saturday, June 13, starting at 8 a.m. at the CRC Roofers Coliseum. Items like chemicals, batteries, and other hazardous materials will be accepted for proper disposal. The event is hosted with support from the City of San Angelo and Tom Green County. Organizers say guidelines on what to bring will be shared ahead of time. The goal is to keep homes, neighborhoods, and the environment safe.
