Texas DPS Trooper Recovering At Home

A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper wounded in an early‑morning officer-involved shooting in Big Spring is now home recovering after being discharged from a Lubbock hospital, authorities report. The trooper was hurt during a traffic stop that turned into a foot pursuit and gunfire, leaving one suspect dead and another arrested.
