An Angelo State University professor has been named to a prestigious international fellowship.
Dr. Bruce Bechtol Jr., a faculty member in ASU’s security studies program, has been appointed a Distinguished Fellow at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel’s top-ranked university.
Bechtol directs ASU’s online master’s program in global security studies and is an internationally recognized expert on North Korean and Middle East security issues.
University leaders say the honor reflects his global impact in research, teaching, and international policy.
