Police Training Prompts Road Closure Near Downtown San Angelo

The San Angelo Police Department advised residents to avoid part of the city during a training exercise. A Nixle alert warned people to stay clear of the 200 block of North Oakes near 2nd Street for several hours. The area is located near the former Central Freshman campus. Police said the activity was strictly for training purposes.
