North Concho River Stocked With Rainbow Trout

In San Angelo, Texas Parks and Wildlife has stocked more than 700 rainbow trout in the North Concho River near Oakes Street as part of winter trout stocking. This wraps up the downtown location for the season, which has seen thousands of trout released since November. Across the state, more than 335,000 trout are planned for stocking through early March. Anglers can catch up to five fish per day, and kids 16 and under fish for free.
