Spiking cases of Covid-19 Coronavirus continues in San Angelo as more residents are tested and are being found positive. A record 41 new positive cases were reported today (Friday) with one new death reported. The health department has confirmed the third COVID-19-related death in Tom Green County. The patient was a male in his 60s with underlying health conditions. There are now 504 total positive cases, 231 actives, and 27 hospitalized in San Angelo. We have 99 released cases and contacts of cases reported this week. Officials are strongly urging everyone to wear masks when out in public as mandated by the Governor, and stay at least 6 feet from others and not to gather in large groups over this holiday period.
