After San Angelo ISD’s failed bond election in May the district has been regrouping and seeking feedback to address their facilities, and examining how best to move forward. Officials say the district is working to strengthen their facilities to increase safety, develop learning spaces for the next generation of students, and create buildings that are ADA accessible for students, parents, and staff. They say however, they cannot fund those efforts without an infusion of outside monies. Their Long-Range Facilities Planning Committee will reconvene to study needs and provide a recommendation to the Board in August. The district is seeking the publics opinion concerning facility needs and to help them gauge voter opinion . They have an online survey at "SAISD dot Org slash 4096.
