The long jury selection process for the capital murder trial for Isidro Delacruz will begin it's second day today. About 3 hundred 50 persons gathered at the McNease Convention yesterday as a jury pool. The pool of potential jurors were notified a few weeks ago that they could become one 12 jurors or 2 alternates deciding the fate of 27 year old Delacruz. The state is seeking the death penalty. Delacruz is charged with murder for allegedly cutting the throat of 5-year-old Naiya Villegas who was the daughter of his ex-girlfriend.
