Angelo State football coach Jeff Girsch added 33 total players to his program in the 2020 national signing day class. ASU added five transfers and 28 commits out of high school. Coach Girsch gives his perspective on his 2020 class. Cisco’s Kruemcke is expected to compete for the starting job in the fall. Walker Bauer of Brady and Stuart Bumann of Wall both committed to ASU. Bauer will compete at linebacker and Bumann at defensive end. The two positions that ASU focused on were offensive line and wide receiver as the Rams added six WR and OL commits in this class. ASU football is coming off a 8-3 season, just their third season of eight or more wins since 2000.
