Airport Master Plan Meeting

The City of San Angelo will hold a public meeting and workshop for the San Angelo Regional Airport Master Plan at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 14th in the Airport Conference Room. It will be the third of four workshops to be held during the preparation of the study, which is expected to take between 12 and 18 months to complete. The project team will present the results of the development alternatives. Potential improvements to the runway and taxiway system will be discussed, as well as the development of additional facilities, including the location for aircraft hangars, airport access, and support facilities.

A Master Plan is a comprehensive study of an airport that focuses on short‐, medium‐ and long‐term development improvements needed to meet future aviation demand. It evaluates facilities that serve passengers, air cargo, aircraft owners, pilots, and airport tenants, providing guidance on how these facilities should be updated to maintain a high level of service to the flying public into the future.
